: Acting on the directions of the District Magistrate of Nainital, the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department carried out an intensive inspection and sample collection drive across various areas of the district to ensure safe and hygienic food products for the general public and visiting tourists.

During the campaign, food establishments located on Tikonia Road, near the Bus Stand, Kaladhungi Road, and Rampur Road were inspected. To examine the quality of food items, samples of flour, spices, gram flour (besan), mango shake, and two paneer samples were collected and sent to the laboratory for testing.
