A 95-year-old resident of Indrajeet Garden, Trilochan Singh Bhasin, is fighting a painful legal battle in the twilight of his life after allegedly becoming the victim of property fraud and betrayal by a tenant he once trusted.

According to Trilochan Singh Bhasin, he had constructed a building from his lifetime savings and rented it out to a family in good faith. Initially, the tenant paid rent regularly, but circumstances changed when Bhasin’s health deteriorated and he had to travel to Mumbai for prolonged medical treatment.

During his absence, the tenant allegedly prepared forged documents and illegally transferred ownership of the entire building in his own name. It is further alleged that the tenant stopped paying rent and began operating a school in the building without the owner’s consent.

After returning from treatment, Bhasin was shocked to discover the alleged fraud when he approached the tenant for rent. He claims that when he objected to the illegal occupation and operation of the school, he was threatened and told that he was too old to fight for the property anymore.

Seeking justice, the elderly man approached the administration. Following intervention by Commissioner Deepak Rawat, action was reportedly taken against the illegally operated school. Authorities shut down the school and sealed the building.

However, Trilochan Singh Bhasin says that true justice is still pending. He has now filed a case in court and hopes that the judiciary will restore his rights and deliver justice.

The story of the 95-year-old man has raised serious concerns about property disputes involving senior citizens and the growing misuse of trust in such cases.
