Haldwani ,,Following the directions of District Magistrate Lalit Mohan Rayal, teams from the Excise Department on Friday carried out routine enforcement and quality control drives across various areas of Nainital district. This included inspections of liquor shops and FL-2 licensed outlets operating in Haldwani.During the inspections, officials checked the availability of various liquor brands, storage arrangements, stock records, and sales processes. To ensure quality standards, samples from different liquor brands were formally collected and sent to laboratories for testing.The entire inspection process was conducted peacefully in accordance with the Excise Act and departmental guidelines. The Excise Department will continue such enforcement actions regularly to effectively curb the sale of illicit liquor and ensure the availability of quality liquor to consumers.
