SBI’s Annadata Utsav: Honoring and Empowering Farmers in Uttarakhand,,

Haldwani: The Indian State Bank (SBI) organized a grand 15-day Annadata Utsav from December 8 to 23, 2025, centered on National Farmers’ Day. The main objective of this festival is to honor farmers, enhance direct dialogue between the bank and farmers, and connect them with modern banking services and government schemes, as stated by Deputy General Manager Rajiv Ranjan. Across over 15,000 rural and semi-urban branches nationwide, events like gram chaupals, awareness camps, and Agri HNI customer meets are being held, including night chaupals, with the bank’s commitment to always being ready to serve and directly connect with customers.

Awareness Campaigns at Village LevelDuring the festival, gram chaupals are providing farmers with detailed information on credit monitoring awareness, cyber security, fraud prevention, and key schemes. Deputy General Manager Rajiv Ranjan emphasized direct engagement with progressive farmers, FPOs, agri-entrepreneurs, and food processors in selected agri-clusters and 101 focus districts. These programs inspire farmers to transition from producers to processors, strengthening the rural economy.

SBI’s Role in Major Government SchemesSBI is effectively implementing schemes like SBI AIF, PMFME, PM-KUSUM, Kisan Samriddhi Loan, and e-NWR financing. Agri and Food Enterprise Loans are promoting storage, processing, and cold chains, while over 80,000 BC-CSP touchpoints serve 2 crore agricultural customers with digital KCC and swift loans through relationship managers.
