Red Alert Issued in Nainital Ahead of President’s Visit, Intensive Checking Campaign to be Conducted,

Nainital: In view of the upcoming visit of the Honorable President of India to the district, the SSP of Nainital has issued a red alert across the district to strengthen security arrangements.All station in-charges have been directed to deploy police personnel at every barrier in their respective areas and conduct intensive checking campaigns on a large scale. Additionally, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), SWAN teams, and Intelligence units have been instructed to remain on alert and ready for immediate action.The SSP has further ordered these teams to conduct continuous verification drives at hotels, roadside dhabas, and other accommodations, and to thoroughly check all suspicious individuals coming from outside. Strict action will be taken against anyone found involved in irregularities.
