Public Facility Camps Held Successfully in Wards 13 and 14, Haldwani

Haldwani, September 18 – Under the direction of District Magistrate Vandana, regular ward-wise public facility camps are being organized in the Haldwani Municipal Corporation area to ensure prompt and effective resolution of citizens’ issues. Continuing this effort, public facility camps were successfully conducted on Wednesday in Wards 13 and 14 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.During the camps, citizens mostly raised complaints related to supply systems, addition or removal of names in ration cards, and issuance of separate ration cards. Many issues were resolved on the spot by officials, while others were directed to the concerned departments for swift action.A total of 42 Aadhaar cards were created and updated during the camp. The supply department received 36 applications, including requests for new ration cards and name additions. Additionally, 9 applications for UCC were also submitted.The public facility camp was attended by Municipal Commissioner Richa Singh, City Magistrate Gopal Singh Chauhan, Assistant Municipal Commissioner G.K. Bhatt, officials and staff from various departments, along with Councillor Mrs. Munni Kashyap of Ward 13 and Councillor Dharmveer of Ward 14. The councillors expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the district administration for organizing the camp.These camps provide citizens convenient access to services such as Aadhaar card generation and updates, ration card services, marriage registrations, electricity and water connections, and speedy resolution of municipal and supply department issues, all at a single location in their ward. The district administration appeals to the public to visit these camps in large numbers to avail the offered facilities, making government services and benefit schemes easily and directly accessible to every citizen.The next camp will be organized on September 19 (Friday) at Praveen Pal’s residence beside Badreepura City Shop, Chakki Wali Gali in Ward 11, and at Chamunda Dharamshala in Ward 12, Haldwani.As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada (Cleanliness Fortnight), a cleanliness campaign was launched today by the municipal corporation team at Chambal Bridge, along with an oath to promote cleanliness among citizens.
