Nainital: DM’s Major Decision on Gunda Act… Actions Dropped in Six Cases, Two Accused Externed for Six Months

Nainital. Following a review of the law and order situation in the district, Nainital District Magistrate Lalit Mohan Ryal has issued significant orders related to Goonda Act cases. Based on police reports and current circumstances, actions proposed or ongoing against six individuals have been canceled, while two persons have been ordered to stay out of Nainital district limits for six months.According to information from the district administration, the cases of Shaharukh son of Mohammad Salim (Banbhoolpura police station), Vijay Sharma (Ramnagar police station), Lakhan Bhola (Banbhoolpura police station), Vinayak son of Anil Kumar (Ramnagar police station), Ashu Srivastava son of Shyam Srivastava (Ramnagar police station), and Aman Gupta son of Sitaram (Lalkuan police station) were examined. It was found that their current activities are normal and pose no immediate threat to public peace. On this basis, the District Magistrate has canceled the Goonda Act proceedings against all of them.On the other hand, based on police reports, Shaharukh son of Sajid, resident of Indira Nagar, Banbhoolpura police station, and Naveen Singh Rawat son of Dewan Singh Rawat, resident of Dak Bungalow Ward No. 1, Kaladhungi police station, have been declared goondas and ordered to remain outside Nainital district limits for six months.The administration has clarified that this decision was taken after a thorough evaluation of facts, police reports, and prevailing conditions to maintain peace and ensure effective enforcement of law in the district.,,,
