Mukti Parv: A Sacred Festival of Spiritual Freedom Celebrated on the Nation’s Independence Day,

Haldwani and Delhi, August 15, 2025 — While India celebrates its 79th Independence Day today, the Sant Nirankari Mission has also honored the occasion by grandly observing Mukti Parv as a festival of spiritual freedom. Alongside the nation’s physical freedom, Mukti Parv symbolizes the awakening of spiritual consciousness, devotion, and the ultimate purpose of life.

The event was held at Nirankari Ground No. 8, Burari Road, Delhi, under the divine chairmanship of Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji, with thousands of devotees from Delhi and the NCR region participating. On this occasion, the Supreme Knowledge (Brahm Gyan) given by the Satguru was proclaimed as true freedom, which liberates a person from the ego and the sense of ‘I.’

In Haldwani as well, a special satsang was organized at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Gaujazali, Bareilly Road, where devotees paid heartfelt tributes to divine saints like Baba Avatar Singh Ji, Jagat Mata Buddhwanti Ji, Rajmata Kulwant Kaur Ji, Mata Savinder Hardev Ji, Bhai Sahab Pradhan Labh Singh Ji, and many other dedicated devotees. This Mukti Parv, which began in 1964, has now become a symbol of spiritual liberation, freeing the soul from the cycle of birth and death.

Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji stated, “Just as the flag and patriotic songs are symbols of freedom, similarly, a devotee’s life should be filled with service, dedication, and devotion. True freedom is Brahm Gyan, which frees us from the bondage of birth and death and connects us with the Supreme Soul.”

The celebration of Mukti Parv on the 79th anniversary of India’s independence added a deeper meaning to the occasion, blending physical and spiritual liberation as a tribute to the highest goal of human life through faith, devotion, and social service.

At the same time, the 79th Independence Day was celebrated across the country with great enthusiasm. In the national capital Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unfurled the national flag at the Red Fort and addressed the nation. Tight security arrangements were in place, and tributes were paid to the martyrs. The Prime Minister announced several schemes aimed at the development and security of the country, important for a ‘New India.’

The tricolor fluttered in every corner of the nation as people immersed themselves in the celebrations of freedom.

This combination of Mukti Parv and Independence Day inspires not only external freedom but also inner liberation and spiritual awareness among the people of India.
