Minority Commission Chairman Iqbal Singh Lalpura Welcomed in Rudrapur, Emphasizes Benefits of Schemes for All,
Rudrapur. National Minority Commission Chairman Iqbal Singh Lalpura on Saturday visited the residence of Jasbir Singh Bathla, a board member of the National Horticulture Board, Government of India, at Mukanpur. He was warmly welcomed by Bathla and members of the minority community, who also shared their concerns with him.
On the occasion, Lalpura said that the Central Government is running several welfare schemes for the minority community, and the benefits of these schemes must reach every section of society. He assured that the Commission is consistently working at the grassroots level to ensure speedy solutions to the problems faced by minorities.
He highlighted that government initiatives such as Padho Pardes, Nai Roshni, Nai Manzil, Seekho aur Kamao, USTTAD Yojana, Hamari Dharohar, Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram, and Nai Udaan are proving to be milestones in the fields of education, skill development, women’s empowerment, and cultural preservation for the minority community.
On this occasion, Uttarakhand Minority Commission Vice-Chairperson Farzana Begum also welcomed Lalpura, stating that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the nation and the state are continuously reaching new heights of development. She added that the government’s schemes are reaching the last mile, truly embodying the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”
The event was attended by local dignitaries including Gurjeet Singh, Harman Singh, Sardar Karnail Singh, Chaudhary Virendra Singh, and Chaudhary Harendra Singh, among many others.,,
