Key Meeting Held for Successful Organization of State Science Festival,

A crucial meeting was held at Khalsa Inter College, Haldwani, under the leadership of Chief Convener and Chief Education Officer of Nainital, Govind Ram Jaiswal, to ensure the successful organization of the upcoming State Science Festival. Members of the organizing committee and core committee—Dr. Prem Mawdi, Dr. Dinesh Joshi, Purushottam Bisht, Pradeep Kumar Joshi, Hemchand Joshi, Shankar Singh Bora, Gopal Singh Bora, Meenakshi Kanwal, Shailendra Pandey, Meena Paliyal, Ashutosh Sah, Bhagwan Bora, Deep Kumar Pandey, Lalit Pathak, Sanjay Kumar Haldar, and Dr. Himanshu Pandey—actively participated in the meeting.During the meeting, Chief Convener Govind Ram Jaiswal reviewed the event’s preparations and announced the formation of several subcommittees, including the Welcome Committee, Records Committee, Stage Management, Decoration, Catering, Accommodation, Media, Discipline, Awards, Coordination, Cultural, Justice, Red Cross, and First Aid Committees. He called upon all committee members to contribute at their respective levels to make the event memorable and well-organized.District Coordinator Dr. Dinesh Joshi informed that the festival will witness participation from all 13 districts of the state, with 468 child scientists, their guide teachers, and coordinators—altogether more than six hundred participants.The Science Festival will feature presentations by junior and senior-level child scientists on seven sub-themes: Sustainable Agriculture, Waste Management, Green Energy, Emerging Technologies, Fun with Mathematical Modeling, Health and Hygiene, and Water Conservation and Management. Additionally, science dramas presented by each district will be a highlight of the event, along with expert lecture sessions scheduled throughout the festival.
