International Girl Child Day celebrated with awareness rally at Malli Bamori,

Haldwani,,On 11 October 2025, the 14th International Girl Child Day was celebrated at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Malli Bamori, Haldwani, courtesy of Saathi Organization. The event highlighted the themes “Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter – Make Society Progressive,” “Daughter is the identity of parents and pride of the nation,” “Give daughters equal rights and the love like sons,” and “Daughter is a blessing of Goddess Lakshmi and an angel on Earth.”Awareness RallyA public awareness rally was organized from Government Higher Secondary School, Malli Bamori to Chambal Bridge and back to the school. Students and teaching staff participated enthusiastically while raising slogans supporting girl child rights and empowerment.Symposium on Girl Child DayAfter the rally, a symposium was held in the school premises to discuss the significance and objectives of International Girl Child Day. Gifts were then distributed to the girls who participated in the rally.ConclusionSaathi Organization President Anand Singh Bhakuni concluded the program by thanking all students, school staff, public representatives, and organization members present for making the day a success.
