Grand Nagar Kirtan on August 21 to Mark 350th Guruship Anniversary of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Dharam Parchar Committee, Sri Amritsar Sahib, under the leadership of President Advocate Harjinder Singh, has announced the organization of a Grand Nagar Kirtan to commemorate the 350th Guruship anniversary of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the 350th martyrdom anniversaries of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, Bhai Dayala Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Mati Das Ji.

The Nagar Kirtan will take place on 6 Bhadon, Nanakshahi Samvat 557 (Thursday, August 21, 2025), starting at 10:00 AM from Gurdwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, Dhubri Sahib (Assam) and will conclude at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib (Ropar), Punjab.

Advocate Harjinder Singh stated that such Panthic events can be successful only with the cooperation of all Sikh sects, Nihang Singh groups, Singh Sabhas, saints engaged in Kar Sewa, and social service organizations. He appealed to the Guru Nanak Naam-Leva Sangat to participate enthusiastically in this religious event and to encourage participation through their local Gurdwara Sahibs and preachers.
