Free Medical Camp Organized by RSS Sewa Bharati in Haldwani

Haldwani ,,,On January 18, 2026, marking the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the Sewa Bharati department of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Haldwani organized free health camps at 10 different locations across urban areas and various rural service settlements in Haldwani. A team of over 60 NMO (Non-Manpower Organization) members and doctors collaborated for this initiative.Free medicines were distributed during the camps. Check-ups covered blood pressure (BP), sugar levels, general ailments, and eye examinations. Facilities for free eye operations were provided, along with free spectacles.Residents including women, men, and children from urban and rural areas benefited from these camps held in Haldwani’s service settlements. Local NMO doctors and medical students extended their services. RSS volunteers and workers managed the arrangements at all sites.The camps were inaugurated by lighting a lamp by the chief guest, RSS Western Uttar Pradesh Kshetra Seva Pramukh Dhaniram. He praised such service activities, urged everyone to imbibe Swami Vivekananda’s ideals in daily life, and emphasized progressing from “Nar” (human) to “Narayana” (divine) through social service.Key attendees included Haldwani District Sanghchalak Dr. Nilambar Bhatt, Sewa Bharati Pradesh Sah-Minister Yashpal Singh Bisht, District President Haldwani Anand Singh Bhakuni, District Minister Advocate Sudarshan Rana, and various Sewa Bharati workers.
