CBC Nainital Launches Swachhotsav 2025 Nainital:

Nainital,,The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Nainital, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has initiated the Swachhotsav 2025 campaign as part of the nationwide “Swachhta Hi Seva” cleanliness drive. The CBC team began the cleanliness activities at the Hanuman Garhi temple premises. According to Shraddha Gururani Tiwari, the nodal officer for the Swachh Bharat Mission at CBC Nainital, all staff participated in cleaning efforts starting from the temple gate to the nearby park. The team collected and disposed of litter scattered in the park and cleared bushes and waste along the path from Hanuman Garhi temple to Sheetla Devi Mata temple.Regional Publicity Officer Neeraj Bhatt shared that the theme for this year is “Nature Cleanliness, Culture Cleanliness.” He added that on September 25, CBC Nainital will organize a special cleanliness labor day called “One Day, One Hour, One Together” with the goal of engaging maximum public participation in the cleanliness drive.During the campaign, CBC Nainital artists performed a cleanliness song emphasizing clean air for a healthy nation. Participants included Anand Singh, Gopesh Bisht, Sharmistha, Deepa, Shobha, Bhaskar, Diwan Singh, Rajesh, Bhupendra Jadaut, and others present at the event.This initiative is part of the larger cleanliness festival being celebrated from September 17 to October 2 in the district, promoting community participation and collective action towards a cleaner environment.
