Block Congress Kathgodam Organizes Peaceful Candlelight Program in Devaldhunga Demanding Justice for Ankita Bhandari,,
Haldwani,,,In a bid to demand justice for Uttarakhand’s daughter Ankita Bhandari, Block Congress Committee, Kathgodam, organized a peaceful tribute program today in Devaldhunga where candles were lit. A large number of Congress workers and local citizens participated, paying floral tributes to Ankita and strongly demanding the harshest punishment for the culprits.On this occasion, MLA from Haldwani, Shri Sumit Hridayesh ji, who was present at the program, stated that it is extremely tragic, painful, and unfortunate that even after such a long time, the name of the VIP involved in the Ankita Bhandari murder case has not been made public. He emphasized that this case is not limited to the injustice done to one daughter but raises serious questions on the functioning and transparency of our justice system.Shri Sumit Hridayesh demanded that the entire matter be investigated impartially by the CBI so that the truth comes out and the culprits receive the harshest punishment.
