Awareness Program on Women’s Development Concludes at Woodland Senior Secondary School, Haldwani,

The three-day Outreach Program organized by the Women’s Studies Centre of Uttarakhand Open University concluded today at Woodland Senior Secondary School, Haldwani. The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
The key objective of the workshop was to guide youth and women towards holistic personality development through mental and physical growth, while also spreading awareness about various courses conducted by the university.
Presiding over the session, Vice Chancellor Prof. Naveen Chandra Lohani emphasized that in today’s era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), students must stay updated with emerging trends. He urged the participants to enrich their studies by opting for value-added, skill-based, and vocational enhancement courses offered by the University.
Coordinator of the Women’s Studies Centre, Prof. Renu Prakash, addressed the students highlighting women’s health and personality development, and expressed gratitude to all participants. Dr. Bhawna Dhoni, Assistant Professor, provided detailed information regarding admissions and the courses being run by the university. Meanwhile, Dr. Nagendra Gangola sensitized the students and teachers about personality development and body language, stressing their importance for better communication skills in the future. Dr. Neeraj Joshi spoke on issues related to women’s education and health.
The program was conducted by Dr. Namita Verma, while the school’s Manager Ranjana Dhoni extended thanks to the university. On this occasion, Regional Assistant Director Rekha Bisht, School Principal Mandeep Kaur, Academy Manager Lata Kholia, senior teachers, and students were also present.
