79th Independence Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Ritesh Sharma Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Jankinagar Kotdwar
Jankinagar, Kotdwar: The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Ritesh Sharma Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College. The chief guests on the occasion were the school’s guardian Dwarika Prasad Agrawal , Committee Vice President Smt. Meenakshi Sharma Kailash Vedi Ji, Kanta Prasad Principal Manoj Kumar Kukreti and Vice Principal Anil Kotnala
The program began with prayer and the flag hoisting. Following this, Dhanishta Patel, a student of Class VI, and Aparna, a student of Class IX, shared their inspiring thoughts through speeches.
In the cultural segment, the sisters of Class VI presented the song “Manushya Tu Bada Mahan Hai” (Man, you are truly great). The brothers and sisters of Class IX performed the song “Uttarakhand, My Motherland, My Fatherland”, stirring patriotic fervor. Additionally, the Class VI sisters presented a dance-drama on the song “Bharat Ki Beti” (Daughter of India), which was highly appreciated.
Towards the conclusion, Program Coordinators Acharya Rahul Bhatia and Acharya Rohit Balodi shared their motivational thoughts, encouraging students to dedicate themselves to nation-building and character development.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Principal, Manoj Kumar Kukreti , followed by the singing of Vande Mataram.
