UKPSC Chairman Presents Annual Report to Governor at Lok Bhawan,,
Dehradun, January 29, 2026: Today, at Lok Bhawan UKPSC Chairman Dr. Ravi Dutt Godiyal and other commission members paid a courtesy visit to Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd.) and presented the commission’s annual report. On this occasion, they provided detailed information about the commission’s ongoing activities and initiatives.The Governor commended the innovative steps taken by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) and urged it to incorporate more advanced technologies in its operations. He particularly emphasized that the commission must always uphold the highest standards of transparency, fairness, and accountability.The Governor suggested compiling the commission’s 25 years of experiences, challenges, and achievements into a book to aid in developing better future practices. He also recommended studying best practices from other states and implementing them as needed.The Chairman informed that during the financial year 2025, the commission recommended a total of 3,149 candidates to the state government through various examinations. He added that the process of digital evaluation of answer scripts is underway, aiming to make the evaluation system more error-free, transparent, and efficient.To enhance candidate convenience, the commission is developing a mobile application that will allow aspirants to directly access all exam-related information and notifications.Additionally, a new system is being introduced for candidates to view their scores by logging into the commission’s website.,,
