Two Important Competitive Exams Scheduled in Nainital District on August 31; AD Issues Security Instructions for Smooth Conduct
Haldwani, , Two important competitive examinations will be conducted in Nainital district.
The first examination will be held by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) in two shifts from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. For this exam, a total of 10 centers have been set up across the district, where 4298 candidates will appear.
The second exam, conducted by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC), is the Preliminary Judicial Service Civil Judge (Junior Division) Preliminary Exam (PCS-J), scheduled from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This exam will take place at 2 centers – Guru Tegh Bahadur Senior Secondary School, Nainital Road, Haldwani, and Himalaya Vidya Mandir, Awas Vikas Colony, Haldwani. A total of 1752 candidates are expected to participate.
To ensure smooth and fair conduct without any malpractice, a meeting was held at the Circuit House, Haldwani on Saturday, chaired by the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Nainital, Shailendra Singh Negi. ADM Negi directed that jammers and CCTV cameras be installed at exam centers and that strict security arrangements be put in place. He emphasized that all zonal magistrates, center heads, and observers must collaborate to complete preparations on time to ensure a peaceful and impartial examination.
The meeting was attended by City Magistrate Gopal Chauhan, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Rekha Kohli, City CO Deepsikha, UKPSC Haridwar observers, as well as principals and observers from all exam centers.
