Survey and Records Implementation in Damuvadhoonga-Jawaharlal Jyoti Should Be Prompt and Transparent: Deepak Balutia,
Haldwani,,,,On August 24, 2025, a delegation from Damuvadhoonga, led by former heads Maheshanand, Jagdish Bharti, Fakir Ram, and Tej Ram, met at the camp office to congratulate and thank Pradesh Spokesperson Deepak Balutia. The delegation, on behalf of the residents of Damuvadhoonga, expressed their gratitude for fighting for their rights and also voiced concerns that the administration might again harass the residents under the pretext of demarcation. Earlier, the administration had unlawfully placed boards on the residents’ land during the demarcation process.
Deepak Balutia urged the government to exercise its powers under Section 48 of the Uttar Pradesh Land Revenue Act, 1901, to carry out the survey and record processes in Damuvadhoonga promptly, fairly, and transparently. He thanked the Chief Minister for lifting the survey ban imposed by the BJP government in 2020, which had caused harm. He also expressed his gratitude to the District Magistrate.
Balutia expressed hope that the government would earnestly fulfill all promises made to the people of Damuvadhoonga and prioritize the interests of the villagers by ensuring they receive their rightful land rights.
The delegation included Maheshanand Arya, Jagdish Bharti, Mahendra Kumar, Ganesh Ram Agari, and many other villagers.
