During this, necessary evidence was collected through the FSL team. Statements from independent witnesses related to the case are being recorded. Regarding the actions being taken by the SIT, Shri Nilesh Anand Bharne has informed that:▪️ All records and documents related to this case available at Udham Singh Nagar Police Office, ITI Police Station, Paiga Chowki, and other relevant offices and branches are being preserved to maintain the integrity of the evidence.▪️ To ensure impartiality and transparency in the case, clear instructions have been given to local police, in addition to the SIT team, not to make any unnecessary contact with any member of the victim’s family or witnesses.▪️ Security guards from other districts are being deployed at the residence of the complainant/victim and witnesses related to the case for their protection.▪️ For technical analysis, 3 Sub-Inspectors, 2 Head Constables, and 1 Constable have been added to the SIT team—Sub-Inspector Hemant Kathait – Lohaghat Police StationSub-Inspector Sonu Singh – ANTFSub-Inspector Radhika Bhandari – Champawat Police StationHead Constable Vinod Yadav – Banbasa Police StationHead Constable Kamal Kumar – Tanakpur Police StationConstable Girish Bhatt – Surveillance Cell, TanakpurIn the late evening, the SIT met with the victim’s family. In this sequence, after inspecting the crime scene today, the FIR registered at ITI Police Station is also being transferred to Kathgodam Police Station.
