Successful Organisation in Wards 57 and 58 on 14 August

Nainital, . Under the direction of District Magistrate Vandana, a series of Public Service Camps continued with successful events held on Thursday in Wards 57 and 58. In Ward 58, the camp was organised at Hari Banquet Hall, Talli Haldwani, and in Ward 57 at Divya Prabha School, Manpur North. Officials from the electricity, water, irrigation, supply department, and municipal corporation were present.

Citizens directly presented their issues to departmental officers, ensuring immediate redressal or necessary action. Aadhaar services, including new enrolment and corrections, were provided. The Electricity Department, Jal Sansthan, and Drinking Water Corporation resolved complaints, while the Supply Department registered and acted upon requests for changes in ration card addresses, addition of names, and online-related issues.

Applications for marriage registration under the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) were also received. Two complaints regarding streetlight repairs were received by the Municipal Corporation; however, repairs were delayed due to heavy rainfall but will be carried out as soon as weather conditions permit.

The camp was attended by Ward 57 Councillor Mrs. Rukmani Bisht, Ward 58 Councillor Mr. Manoj Joshi, and officers from all departments. The District Administration appealed to citizens to participate in large numbers in these camps to avail benefits of departmental services.

According to the Municipal Commissioner, the next camp will be organised on Monday, 18 August 2025, from 10 AM at Ward 55 (Jan Milan Kendra) and Ward 56 (Councillor’s Office).
