Meeting of 100th Foundation Course Trainee Officers Held in Pithoragarh,

Pithoragarh | October 5, 2025A meeting with trainee officers of the 100th Foundation Course was held late last evening at the Collectorate Hall under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Vinod Goswami.During the session, District Magistrate Goswami interacted with the trainee officers who came from various states of the country and sought their feedback on their visit to Pithoragarh district. He discussed their observations regarding administrative functioning, development works, and local challenges encountered during their field visits.The District Magistrate informed the officers that Pithoragarh, being a border district, is geographically highly sensitive and requires promptness and administrative efficiency at all levels. He also briefed them on key issues related to rural development, health services, education, disaster management, and public participation.The trainee officers shared their experiences and expressed appreciation for the cooperation and diversity they found in the district. They mentioned that their visit to Pithoragarh provided them valuable ground-level insights that will be beneficial in their future administrative careers.Senior officials including the Additional District Magistrate and Sub-Divisional Magistrate were also present during the meeting.
