Mayor Gajraj Bisht Pays Tribute to Statehood Martyrs in Khatima on Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee,,

On the auspicious occasion of Uttarakhand’s State Foundation Day Silver Jubilee, Mayor Gajraj Bisht visited the Shaheed Memorial in Khatima to pay homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the state’s formation. He offered floral tributes and garlanded the statues of the statehood movement heroes.Mayor Bisht also honored the family members of the martyrs by presenting them with ceremonial shawls and expressing deep respect for their sacrifice. Addressing the gathering, he said that the state of Uttarakhand is the result of the relentless struggle and sacrifices of countless activists. The leadership role played by women and students in this movement remains a matter of pride for all. He added that this ceremonial tribute is not only a remembrance of their contribution but also a source of inspiration for the youth of the state.On this solemn occasion, Vijay Manral, Diwan Dogra, Ganesh Thukrati, Neeraj Rastogi, Kishor Joshi, Sobhan Singh, and several others were present.Office of the Mayor
