Mayor Gajraj Bisht Lays Foundation Stone for Beautification of Two Parks in Ward 41,

Haldwani–Kathgodam: The Uttarakhand Government has approved ₹1285 lakh for development and beautification works of 17 parks within the Haldwani–Kathgodam Municipal Corporation area. Continuing this initiative, Mayor Gajraj Bisht today laid the foundation stone for beautification of two parks located in Ward No. 41—Foot Hill City Park and Girija Vihar Park.Mayor Bisht informed that the Municipal Corporation had earlier submitted proposals to the state government for development of several city parks, for which approval worth ₹1285 lakh was granted. Construction work on four parks has already begun, and now the beautification of these two parks in Ward 41 has been initiated. The projects will include installation of an open gym, children’s play equipment, landscaping, and other aesthetic enhancements.He added that the corporation is continuously working for the city’s development with the support of both the Central and State Governments.Corporator Chandraprakash, Shakti Kendra Convener Soban Bhad, Booth President Giridhar, Foot Hill City President Trilok Shahi, Girija Vihar President Shriṣh Kothari, Municipal Commissioner Paritosh Verma, Project Manager S.P. Badoni, Assistant Engineer Naval Nautiyal, and local residents were present at the ceremony.
