IT Department Inaugurates Two-Day International Conference ‘IMPACT-2026’,,

Pantnagar. The Department of Information Technology under the College of Technology, GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, in collaboration with DMedia, Noida, inaugurated the two-day international conference ‘IMPACT-2026’ at the college’s multipurpose hall.Chief guest Dr. Krishna Nimoli from the USA and Dr. Manoj Gorkela, legal representative for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh at the Supreme Court, graced the occasion. The event was presided over by Dr. S.S. Gupta, Dean of the College of Technology. Conference Chair and HoD Dr. Rajeev Singh, along with organizing committee member Dr. Gulshan Srivastava, were also on the dais. Guests released the conference souvenir.Key Highlights from Speeches
Dr. Nimoli highlighted the utility of remote sensing, stating that research is meaningful only when applied for societal benefit. She discussed legal procedures related to cybercrime, cybersecurity, and hacking, while outlining career opportunities in IT. Dr. Gupta emphasized that such international conferences open new dimensions in research.Conference Details
The event received 850 research papers. Twelve technical sessions feature chairpersons and presentations from experts in Australia, Europe, Romania, Kazakhstan, and other countries via online mode. Conference coordinator Dr. Ashok Kumar proposed the vote of thanks. A souvenir was also released.
