47 Challans Issued, 12 Vehicles Seized in Transport Department Drive,

Haldwani. Under the direction of Divisional Enforcement Officer Arvind Pandey, the Transport Department carried out a special two-day checking drive. The campaign was conducted by ARTO (E) Haldwani in Kotabagh, Belpadav, and Kaladhungi areas.During the operation, a total of 47 challans were issued and 12 vehicles were seized. Action was taken against violations such as overloading, oversized vehicles, absence of reflectors, carrying passengers in goods vehicles, poor vehicle condition, operating without permits, fitness certificates, insurance or tax, and riding without helmets.The seized vehicles included 6 goods carriers, 3 e-rickshaws, 2 autos, and 2 two-wheelers. The inspection team consisted of Chandan Supiyal, Anil Karki (ATI), Gaurav Kumar, Pankaj Bisht, Rohit, and enforcement constables.
