Not Through Display, but Self-Realization Alone Will True Women’s Empowerment Happen’: Dr. Sarveshwar,,
Haldwani,,,Parvati Janmotsav Grandly Celebrated Amidst Shiv Katha FestivitiesOn the fourth day of the seven-day Bhagwan Shiv Katha, organized by Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan at M.B. Inter College Ground, Canal Road, Haldwani from January 29 to February 4, 2026, Mata Parvati’s birth festival was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm. While narrating the Katha, Dr. Sarveshwar Ji explained that Maharaja Himvan and Maharani Maina worshipped Adi Shakti Jagadambika for 27 years to obtain her as a daughter. As a result of that boon, Mother Bhavani took birth as the daughter of Maharaja Himvan in the form of Parvati. Swami Ji highlighted how remarkable this aspect of Indian culture is, where intense austerities lasting 27 years were performed for the birth of a daughter. Yet, in today’s India, the plight of women is so pathetic that parents’ faces crease with worry the moment a daughter is born. Newspapers are filled daily with reports of women’s exploitation, rape, domestic violence, and dowry harassment. Whether it’s the Delhi ‘Nirbhaya case’ or the ‘Kolkata rape case,’ these incidents reveal how low society has fallen, treating women merely as objects of gratification. Even more lamentable is that today’s women have forgotten their inherent dignified power. They must now realize they are not helpless but empowered. For this, women need to attain self-realization and awaken the dormant power within. External displays of beauty are superficial; a woman’s true beauty lies embedded in her soul. When Brahmagyan ignites the divine radiance of the soul within her, the entire world will bow before her brilliance. Every lustful gaze will be incinerated, and the world will pay homage to her purity.Swami Ji stated that Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan is committed, through its ‘Santanulan’ project, to empowering women in society by imparting the knowledge of self-realization and Brahmavidya, restoring them to their glorified position.Notable attendees included Neeraj Sharada CA, Shashi Bhushan Agrawal, Seema Agrawal, Jitendra Sahni, Rahul Sabharwal, Hemant Dwivedi (President, BKTC), Anand Darambal, Rajesh Agrawal, Devilal Choudhary, Rahul Gupta, Omprakash Ji, Piyush Sinha Ji, Rajendra Tulsyan Ji, and Saurabh Tayal Ji.
