Dehradun,,Honorable Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Appreciates the University’s Academic AchievementsThe Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Uttarakhand Open University (UOU), Prof. Naveen Chandra Lohni, paid a courtesy call today on Uttarakhand’s Honorable Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence in Dehradun.On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Lohni warmly welcomed the Honorable Chief Minister by presenting him with a shawl, bouquet of flowers, and a commemorative memento. During the meeting, he briefed the Chief Minister in detail about the university’s educational and academic activities, innovations, digital learning initiatives, and recent achievements.Honorable Chief Minister Shri Dhami praised the university’s academic activities and sustained progress, describing its role in higher education as highly significant. He assured full support from the state government to the university.On the occasion of the convocation ceremony, the university’s key publications—”Udan” and “Pragati Ke Sopan”—along with its annual report were presented to the Honorable Chief Minister. He commended the educational quality, research-oriented vision, and institutional development efforts reflected through these publications.The Chief Minister sought information on the university’s recent initiatives, appreciated them, and discussed possibilities for growth and expansion in the upcoming academic session. He also provided guidance on the university’s needs and future plans, expressing agreement to further strengthen mutual cooperation for bolstering higher education in the state.
